Police investigating a collision in Middlewich in which two women died arrested an 18-year-old Middlewich man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
The collision, on the A533 Booth Lane near to the junction with Dragons Lane, occurred on Tuesday 18 June at around 10.47pm.
The collision involved two vehicles, sadly, the driver of one of the vehicles and her front seat passenger received fatal injuries.
The three people, who were travelling in the second vehicle - an 18-year-old woman and two 18-year-old men - sustained serious injuries. The 18-year-old woman and one of the 18-year-old men remain in a serious but stable condition in hospital. The other 18-year-old man has been discharged from hospital.
