Adoption campaign hits ‘Street’

A hard-hitting television advertisement campaign commissioned by four local authorities will hit television screens this Friday during one of the nation’s favourite soaps – Coronation Street.

Four4Adoption is an adoption campaign between partners, Cheshire East, Trafford, Tameside and Stockport councils.

Around 10 million people tune into the trials and tribulations of family life in Weatherfield each week and the campaign is designed to target this audience. The ads will air at 7.28pm and 7.45pm.

Four4Adoption is a collaboration of four local authorities with a single aim, to increase the possibilities of matching looked after children with potential adoptive parents and families in the region.

Their aim is to attract the wide cross-section of people who watch Coronation Street and encourage them to look into becoming adoptive parents.

Don’t miss Coronation Street on Friday, June 7 to see how Four4Adoption will promote the idea of providing a loving, stable and permanent home for the wide range of children currently in care and awaiting adoption.
