Willaston and Rope Ward Councillor Brian Silvester has welcomed action on pot holes in Willaston. See e-mails below.

He said," Both the Parish Council and myself received many complaints about the large number of pot holes and some subsidence in the Bayley Road area. I took the issue up and I am pleased that action has been taken by the Cheshire East Council and that the road will be put forward for surface dressing. This road was one of the worst in the area and residents were getting very concerned about the lack of action. I hope the surface dressing can be done in the near  future."

I don't think that this is just a problem in Willaston. The condition of the road surfaces right across Crewe are appalling. The majority of large pothole which are appearing seem to be as a result of poor repairs from previous years, resulting in ever larger and deeper holes everywhere.
