Council opens drop-In facility at Bosley Primary school for residents

Cheshire East Council is opening a drop-in facility for people affected by the incident at Bosley from 2:30pm today in Bosley St Mary’s Primary school, Leek Old Rd, Macclesfield, Cheshire SK11 0NX.

Council specialists will be on hand to provide advice and support on matters related to housing, employment and benefits.

In addition, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) will be on hand to provide advice.

The Council has been working closely with the community to successfully provide accommodation for those families who have been displaced by the disaster within the village and its immediate area.

Cheshire East Council is also working with Staffordshire Moorlands Council to ensure residents who live over the border but work at the site, are fully supported.
