Cheshire East Council has moved to reassure residents that Crewe Household Waste and Recycling Centre, on Pyms Lane opposite the Bentley showroom, will remain open.
Councillor David Topping, Cheshire East’s Cabinet member for service commissioning, said: “This site is unaffected by the sale of the nearby Ansa depot to Bentley Motors.
“The household waste recycling site on Pyms Lane is not closing.”
