At 11.40am today, Police and other emergency services were called to a report of road traffic collision on the A556 at Davenham near Northwich.
The collision involved a motorcycle that collided with the central reservation on the Manchester bound carriageway.
The rider, an adult man, has been taken to Hospital.
The road is closed and traffic is being diverted through Davenham and Northwich. Motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible.
