GRANT FOR CHURCH HALL WELCOMED.

 

Willaston and Rope Ward Councillor Brian Silvester has welcomed a grant from Cheshire East Council to the St John’s Methodist Church in Willaston.

He said," The grant of £1,250 covers half the cost of redecorating the Church Hall to make it more attractive for users. These include the Parent and Toddler Group and the Pre School Group. The balance of the cost of the redecoration  has been raised by the Church and groups who use the hall. This is a tremendous joint effort to improve a well used community building. I am sure that all users of the hall will be delighted and other groups will be encouraged to use it. I am grateful to the Cheshire East Council for supplying the grant."
