Cold Callers

Please be aware that I have been informed of several incidents locally whereby cold callers have been visiting addresses claiming to be from charities asking residents to sign up for a lottery. Residents have been asked for bank details.
I am not sure how legitimate these callers are and I would therefore advise that you do not pass out any personal details. If you are considering donating to charity or becoming involved in any sort of charity drive that you do this by either contacting the registered charity directly, visiting a charity shop or via a secure internet site.
