Swirly Whirlys - The Perfect Place for a Truly Scrumptious Birthday Party

St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice’s Swirly Whirlys creperie, ice cream parlour and old fashioned sweet shop in Nantwich is offering local birthday boys and girls a fun-packed party to remember.

The innnovative Swirly Whirlys shop, based at 6 Pillory Street, officially opened its doors in November and has quickly established itself as a popular and tasty hit with the local community.

And now the unique store, which is certainly a tasty treat for eyes both young and old thanks to the feast of vivid and playful colour across its three floors, is offering the perfect place to host a fun-filled celebration in its purpose built party room– and to top it off, all the proceeds from the party go to the our local hospice.

The birthday boy or girl, and up to 11 friends, can:

  • Paint a pot or create their own piece of craft to take home
  • Have a delicious crepe with a topping of their choice and a milkshake or drink.
  • The birthday boy or girl also takes home a plate signed for you by all your friends
  • Take home a bag of yummy vintage style sweets

St Luke’s Retail and Operations Manager Steven Holmes commented: “Swirly Whirlys is a feast for the eyes and the senses which makes it the perfect place to capture your child’s imagination on their special day.

“It’s a wonderfully playful shop and what’s more there is a mouth-watering array of freshly cooked crepes to treat yourself and the kids to.

“I'm delighted to say Swirly Whirlys is now hosting children’s parties and we would be delighted to see Mid and South Cheshire families supporting our cause by having a wonderful time!”

Prices start at £14 and the parties last for around two hours. Celebrations will be led by a friendly supportive member of staff. St Luke’s asks that at least one adult remains throughout the party.

Over £6500 a day is needed for St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice to open its doors every day, and the majority of that money is found through fundraising and donations.

Aimed at children, their parents and grandparents, the historic three-story Swirly Whirlys encompasses a luxurious traditional sweet shop where children can indulge in a treat to eat, while parents can relax and also enjoy wonderful food. There is a fabulous craft studio incorporating a party area, plus throughout the store you’ll find plenty of wonderful gift ideas.

Swirly Whirlys staff and volunteers are also excited about the soon to open Butterfly Garden at the rear of the shop, the perfect place to spend time on a spring day.
