Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery which happened in Newton Street in Crewe on 25 May 2012.

At around 1pm or shortly after, a woman was walking along Newton Street in Crewe.

As she approached the Oakley Centre close to the pedestrian crossing on West Street, a man came up to her and demanded money.

She handed over a quantity of cash and as she did the man grabbed her arm causing her an injury. The woman was left shaken by her ordeal but didn′t require hospital treatment.
